BACKGROUND

KHM’s original conception began from sadly seeing our natural resources diminishing. Also, with family members being plagued with medical issues and feeling helpless caused a deep desire to do something that would help. But what?

We looked at our likes, dislikes, abilities, inabilities, talents, and resources. From these we realized we loved nature and had taken many classes and studies in biology, ecology, and chemistry which we utilized in the water filtration aspect of our other business. We also looked at our experiences with our farm which provided insight to agricultural practices. Then with the care of our animals, we had learned the importance of balanced diet, minerals, supplement for ultimate health. And next was background in maintenance, electrical and programming and the teaching of these skills which could be used.

THE CONCEPT

Considering all these and lots of research, we came up with several different possibilities that could be viable ventures. But which would provide enjoyment and be a lasting benefit to people and the environment. After evaluating our research, we found that fungi and mycology had so much promise and had already had many successful experiments and studies that we chose the amazing world of mushrooms. And as icing on the cake, it gets you out in the great outdoors.

And so, the venture began.
